Bourgogne Vézelay
Cépage Chardonnay

• Cuvée Claudius
A wine from several vineyards which, for the most part, are located on the right bank of the River Cure.
Fermentation in wine vats.

• Cuvée la Châtelaine
A wine which comes from our vineyards on the south slopes of Vézelay's hill.
Fermentation 80% in wine vats and 20% in barrels.

• Cuvée Les Saulniers
A wine full of character : it comes from a single vineyard situated on the old path once used by salt smugglers, who extracted contraband salt from the water at "Fontaines Salées" (saline springs).
Fermentation in wine vats exclusively.

We are one of the last vintners to grow this local white grape which has almost completely disappeared from Vézelay vineyards. This thirst-quenching wine is ideal to serve as an aperitif or to accompany a snack.

Bourgogne Rouge
Cépage Pinot Noir et César

• Cuvée Champs Cadet
100% Pinot Noir, fermentation in barrels.
This inaccessible and isolated vineyard was left to the youngest children in a will. Hence the name, "Cadet". The topsoil is very stony and the yield modest.

• Cuvée l'Ermitage
80% Pinot Noir, 20% César
Wine from the very steep south-facing slope, in the rural district of Vézelay at a placed called l'Ermitage. Le César, a grape which has been found in the Yonne region since the Gallo-Roman era, endows this wine with an original character rarely found in other Yonne wines.

Our intention is to make honest and authentic wines which reflect the distinctive character of our region and the climate of a particular year.
We do not resort to so-called "modern" artificial means in our wine making process in order to achieve this goal.
Naturally enough, we hand-pick our grapes and our wine is produced using traditional skills.
Some of our wines may appear to be somewhat less potent than others on the market, but we want our produce to be wholly natural and not "fortifed" with additives to bolster strength.
